At Operation Pay It Forward, you will see a lot of joint ventures and associations with other individuals and veteran non-profit organizations. For us it is not about who is getting credit for the event, it is about helping as many veterans as we can and creating the biggest positive impact we can on those in need. We qualify all donors and associated organizations before teaming up to make sure our veterans are well taken care of.
If this looks like something you want to be a part of, click on the “Veterans Start Here,” or “Sponsors Start Here” buttons to send us your info.
Here is a brief list of upcoming events with many more to come!
April 28th, 2018 – 6:00pm
Please join us for a very special night of dinner, drinks and live & silent auctions to help raise funds for our vets, and “pay it forward” at OPIF’s 3rd Annual Fund Raising Banquet held at Cottonwood Country Club.
July 15-17, 2016
Whitetail and exotics hunt at the Droptine Ranch in Texas. OPIF is partnering with Life and Liberty outdoors to get some wounded veterans on some once in a lifetime species! These veterans may be missing some limbs, but they are not missing the drive to do whatever it takes to make this a successful hunt! OPIF VP Michael Burns will be joining them for their experience. Can’t wait to see the pictures!
November 7-13, 2016
Mule deer hunt in eastern Montana with OPIF partner Steve McIntosh. Steve was part of the original OPIF vision and we are happy to be involved with him in this event. Last October a career special forces operator was hit by an IED and lost both his legs. He is not about to let that stop him from navigating the hills of eastern Montana in pursuit of a trophy mule deer. He is currently just learning how to walk with his prosthetics, but he is confident that he can do whatever it takes to make this hunt a success and we are behind him all the way!
November 27 – December 6, 2017
African safari at NB Safaris in South Africa! OPIF is partnering with Field of Dreams, Inc. to make this dream a reality for two U.S. Army Infantry officers that served multiple tours together in Iraq. OPIF founder, Eric Pauly, will be accompanying these heroes and their fiances to pursue African plains game approximately 2 hours north of Johannesburg. Africa is a special place that should be experienced at least once in a hunter’s lifetime and we are happy to be a part of this experience!
December 5-7, 2016
Warriors in the Wetlands 2016. This waterfowl hunt is hosted by Field of Dreams, Inc. in Northern CA and is sponsored by many of the local businesses and duck clubs. Michael Burns and Eric Pauly were lucky enough to attend in 2015 and it was a great group of veterans and sponsors coming together to have a blast waterfowl hunting and networking. OPIF will be sending 5 veterans to this year’s event to participate in the hunting and comradery!
